Hamilton Island Was Designed With Luxury In Mind

The largest inhabited island of the enchanting Whitsundays, Hamilton Island was designed with luxury in mind. Several 3, 3.5 and 4 star resort style accommodations are available for parties from 2 – 8, including some specialising in family activities. However, for the most spectacular, five star pampered experiences the most discriminating traveler could dare to imagine, there are two.

There are multiple ways to reach the island. A private airport allows guests to land on the island, there are also many catamarans, cruises, sail boats or yachts to whisk you away to your destination. With a fully licensed travel agency on the island, accommodations can easily be made for you with nothing more than a phone call.

Qualia - Great Barrier Reef

Qualia at the Great Barrier Reef is located on the secluded northern tip of Hamilton Island. Qualia is a place where incredible stone, fine textures and the sensual fragrance natural Eucalyptus sit hand in hand to create a setting of natural beauty rarely found anywhere.

Water front accommodations can be found with one-bedroom freestanding pavilions offering the private infinity edge pool or a private sundeck. Of course, you are free to dine at any of the other five if you choose. Children are not allowed at the Qualia – as it is meant as an adult retreat.

Other facilities and activities are available with your stay at Qualia. The Spa for example offers a extensive selection of luxurious treatments. The Great Barrier Reef is waiting to be discovered as well. Take a diving or snorkelling trip, explore the marvelous underwater reef life, of charter the services of a catamaran or yacht and travel the waterways surrounding the Whitsundays.

If you are not in the mood to lay by the infinity edge pool, you may want to visit the surrounding islands or coral reefs.
